And there's nothing there, it's like eating air...

Sat Dec 20, 2008, 8:49 PM
... it's like drinking gin with nothing else in.
Augie March and As Tall As Lions are making me so happy.
As well as the League of Gentlemen:
"Wanna buy some pegs dave?" Papa Lazarou is A) Creepy B) Amazing and C) Fantastic.
Anyway. I have clearly not uploaded any actual artwork in a long time. Sorry. I have been slightly disgruntled and not very creative lately for various reasons (see: no RMIT interview, no music course), but I am planning on painting or drawing this afternoon, so I'll see how I go.
Anyway, Aawaface and I went busking today, at the convent in abbotsford. We made a fair amount each. At this rate, I may not need a summer job. J'espere.
But anyway, at the moment, this Twilight obsession of EVERY TEENAGER EVER is essentially making me want to stick a fork in my eye. Or in everyone else's eyes. Either way. I mean, come on, why is the vampire vegetarian? At what point do you think a vegetarian vampire is the height of cool? Similarly, at what point is a highly mormon vampire cool? At what point is his highly mormon crush cool? (Little known fact - the author of Twilight is a mormon). And, particularly, at what point is it romantic to watch your crush sleep every night for three months before you finally get together (and by "get together" I mean "propose a friendly date in which displays of affection are strictly forbidden")?
Answer: IT IS NOT ROMANTIC. It is the stuff that restraining orders are made of.
Anyway. I just thought I'd mention that. No offence is meant to either mormons or vegetarian vampires or twilight fans.
ANYWAY. I am talking like a crazy person. I think I might go get a coffee.
I love you like fireworks.

Oh art was okay. Better than I thought it would be. Personally, I was a HUGE fan of the Transformers movie still. But I wrote on something else instead. Still, it was pretty great.
